What Does It Cost to Study Abroad-Away?
Students studying abroad-away for a semester or academic year will be charged the prevailing tuition rate at Misericordia University for the term(s) abroad-away, the standard per semester general fee and a non-refundable application fee of $50.00. For programs costing more than Misericordia University programs, students will be charged the higher of the two.
Students studying abroad-away for a winter, spring or summer program not run by Misericordia University will be invoiced by Misericordia for the actual cost of the program at the host university or study abroad-away program. Students will be charged a non-refundable application fee of $50.00 as well as an administrative fee of $250 by Misericordia University.
Students participating in a Misericordia University faculty-led study abroad-away program will be charged Misericordia University tuition.
In addition to tuition and fees, students will incur costs for room, meals, books, transportation, passport, student visa/study permit (if required) and personal expenses. The totals for these costs will vary according to study abroad location.
